The Charitable Gift Annuity is a financial agreement whereby you can make an irrevocable gift to the Key Bible Clubs and, in return, you receive a regular income as long as you live. The income will have tax free benefits (depending on your age at the end of this year) and the Annuity is guaranteed by a major Canadian Life Insurance Company. The rate you receive will depend upon your age, gender and whether the annuity is based on one single life or a couple, to continue as long as either is living. Upon death, the residual balance of the annuity income will be used by KBC in its work of taking the gospel of Jesus Christ into the public schools of Southwestern Ontario.

While rates are subject to change, the following are examples of annuities that have been available recently:

A single gentleman, who is 75 years old, will receive 8.0% per year, 91% tax-free.

A single lady, who is 72 years old, will receive 7.4% per year, 93% tax-free.

If this couple were married to one another, they would receive 6.9% per year as long as either lived, 86% of this being tax free income.
